Cost Of Dubai Visa In Nigeria Currently

TYPES OF DUBAI VISA THAT NIGERIANS CAN APPLY FOR

96-HOUR VISA

Just as the name implies, this type of visa allows those visiting Dubai to stay for a period of 96 hours, which is exactly 4 days. If you plan to visit the United Arab Emirates for just under a week, this is the visa that you should apply and pay for.

14-DAY VISA (SHORT-TERM VISIT, SINGLE ENTRY)

This visa type cannot be extended, that is, once it has expired, you cannot apply to extend your stay, and it is valid for a period of 14 days, which is 2 weeks. The validity of this visa is effective from the date of issue.

30-DAY VISA (SHORT-TERM VISIT, SINGLE ENTRY)

This visa, just like the 14-Day visa, cannot be extended and it is valid for a stay of 30 days, which is 1 month. This visa is valid for 58 days from the date of issue. It is only for a family travelling for tourist purposes.

90-DAY VISA 

This visa is good for those who plan to go to Dubai on holiday for three months either to visit family or friends.

Since 2017, the 90-day visit visa as well as the Multiple Entry Short Term Visa for 30 days and the Multiple Entry Long Term Visa for 90 Days have been suspended.

Prior to the suspension, the amount paid for the 90-Day Visa was ₦63,000 and the cost of the 90-Day Multi-Entry Long Term Visa was ₦154,000, while the cost of the 30-Day Multi-Entry Short Term Visa was ₦61,000.

CURRENT COST OF DUBAI VISA IN NIGERIA PRESENTLY (2024)

  • 30-Day Visa – ₦30,000
  • 96-Hour Visa – ₦23,000
  • 14-Day Visa – ₦30,000
  • Cancellation Charge – ₦8,400

REQUIREMENTS FOR GETTING YOUR DUBAI VISA IN NIGERIA

If you want to get your Dubai Visa in Nigeria, the VFS Dubai Visa Application Centre in the country is where you are expected to pay, after which an electronic receipt will be generated for you so that you can use it to apply for your visa.

As is the case with every visa application process, you will be required to provide your financial record. You will be asked to provide the original copy of a letter from your bank stating that you have a bank account in Nigeria with enough money to fund your trip to Dubai.

You may also provide your original bank account statement detailing your transactions in the last 6 months. The statement must have a bank seal and signature. You may be required to present your pay slip stating your monthly salary with your employer’s seal and signature.

If your trip is being sponsored by a company or an individual, you will be asked to provide the relevant documents to that effect. You may have to provide a security deposit of $1550 before you travel.

This deposit will be paid back to you upon your return to the country with the proof of entry and exit stamp in Dubai. The security deposit can also be paid in its Naira equivalent which is ₦558,000.

This deposit is only applicable if your immediate family member living in Dubai, say your husband or wife, your child (21 years and above) or your parents (from 60 years and above), has invited you to the United Arab Emirates.

Upon invitation to Dubai, you will be required to provide the following documents:

  • Invitation letter with a copy of labor contract of family member inviting you with the attestation from the Emirates Commercial Visa Section in Dubai.
  • Marriage certificate if you have been invited by your spouse living in Dubai.
  • Birth Certificate if you have been invited by any of your children living in Dubai.

Apart from the documents you are to provide once your family member has invited you, there are general documents also to provide in order to enable you apply for Dubai visa in Nigeria if you are visiting Dubai on your own. These documents include the following:

  • Original copy of your international passport (Valid for more than 6 months).
  • Copies of a coloured passport photograph
  • Coloured photo page and bio page
  • Expiry date and any other special endorsement information must be stated clearly
  • Coloured passport photograph with your full name and passport number written at the back
  • Size must be to the specification of 4.3 cm x 5.5 cm and preferably on a white background
  • Your airline ticket.

If you are not a Nigerian and you are applying for Dubai visa from Nigeria, you will be required to present a coloured copy of the valid CERPAC and residence permit visa. You are also expected to attach other relevant documents but this is dependent on the type of visa you are applying for.
