Obi Cubana was born on April 12, 1975, and he hails from Oba, a town in Idemili South Local Government Area in Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria. He attended Central Primary School, Anambra State, obtaining his First Leaving School Certificate in the process and proceeded to Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha for his secondary education, obtaining his Senior Secondary School Certificate upon the successful completion of his secondary education.

Obi Cubana’s career in night club and hotel business started in 2006, when he established his first night club known as Ibiza in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. With great success recorded in the establishment of Ibiza Club, he proceeded to establish the Cubana group, a hospitality club that provides all round entertainment satisfaction in 2009.
